THE DESIGN PROCESS
The poster design is a composite of a number of different images providing multiple layers of information in the design. From afar, the viewer might only recognize the main character in profile while a closer look reveals the other elements in the multi-layered design.
The color palette flows from the main character's image and acts as a unifier across the design. The scripted typeface and lace texture background add a subtle nod to the time period of the movie.
THE FINAL DESIGN
The final design is a multi-layered composite of the secondary characters and settings of the movie embedded within a solitary profile image of Lily (the main characters).
