To create a revised logo and set of icons that represent a brand refresh. The logo needs to reflect to the go-forward brand message and technically designed for scalability and use in multi-media campaigns. The icons are to be visually connected as a set and useful for a single design graphic that aligns to the logo.
THE LOGO DESIGN PROCESS
The current logo is shown below and the image above illustrates the new design.
The first step in the design process for the logo was to assemble a mood board for the brand.

Hand-drawn explorations were drafted illustrating several options for the new logo.
FINAL LOGO DESIGN
A final option was selected and refined via computer draft. The final version was tested for legibility at small sizes and reviewed in color and black/white.

THE INFOGRAPHIC DESIGN PROCESS
The infographic and icon designs were hand-drafted to first illustrate the overall concept. The infographic will feature different activities and things to do around the state of Maine.
The icons were refined via computer draft to ensure alignment and consistency across the set.

The infographic design was also incorporated into a three-panel brochure design illustrating a potential collaboration between Maine Travel & Tourism and LL Bean.
