About Me
Is it possible to be both right and left-brained? Yes! After many years in tech organizing and processing big data streams for companies like SAS and Comcast, I am looking forward to taking the official leap professionally into a creative role. Looking back, the technical side of my career started slowly, first I became the ‘go-to’ for technical solutions and uber-complex excel formula needs. Then, I naturally fell into several marketing data analyst positions – answering questions like which email had the best response and why? How can we optimize web traffic conversion? And later – leading data visualization and full-stack system teams. Leading complex projects, visually mapping out data and business architecture - all my specialties. The more complicated the problem, the more likely I was the one leading the workshop to find a solution. A personal spark of excitement happened when I entered a photo contest – and won the cover of our local town calendar. I started a side hustle with my photography and caught the entrepreneurial bug as it took off. My images have been featured in national magazines and used for political promotions. I designed my own website, brand logo and do all the graphic design layouts for my professionally printed products – business continues to grow at +15% YoY. I thrive at the intersection of strategy and design. With my background in photography, I can capture high-quality assets that I then transform into data-driven graphic designs for digital marketing campaigns. My secret weapon is my project management mindset; I use tools like Smartsheet to coordinate workflows and ensure no deadline is ever missed. I love being the ‘one-stop-shop’ that can handle a project’s creative and logistical needs simultaneously.
